For another: beauty

For Weber: passion

For some, if we have the Spirit, why do we need the brain?
What does the Church have to do with Academia Sinica?
Who needs a Christian professor when we already have a Christian senator?

But they pick up their pens and paint on those papers, books, dialectics, and philosophies.
They sing, perhaps in a higher pitch, a lonely soliloquy,
Carving grace into the marble of reason,
For those who listen, a newness in all seasons.

They write, they teach, though applause is faint.
But it is not lonely after all — somewhere in China, people debate;
As seeds of faith and thought,
A stone in the pond, ripple effect.

With hope not faint, a strand of music heard; someone follows the steps.
